Terms and Conditions

1. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to promotional offers provided by Citrus Innovations Pty Ltd (ABN 25 667 285 654) (“Citro”) for the purchase of an Eligible Policy (as defined below) through Compare the Market Pty Ltd (ABN 83 117 323 378) (“Compare the Market”).

2. The promotional offer amounts are:

• $100 for the purchase of a Hospital only policy
• $50 for the purchase of an Extras only policy
• $150 for a Hospital and Extras (Combined) policy

(collectively, “promotional offer”).

3. For the purposes of this Offer, an “Eligible Policy” is a new:

• Hospital only policy 
• Hospital and extras (Combined) policy
• Extras only policy

(collectively, “Eligible Policy”).

4. To be eligible for the promotional offer, during the Promotional Period you must purchase an Eligible Policy as an Eligible Customer. An Eligible Customer must satisfy the following:

• Individuals must purchase a new Eligible Policy through Citro during the Promotional Period and provide a valid email address;
• Must purchase an Eligible Policy/ies through Compare the Market by using the URL specified by Citro (https://comparethemarket.sjv.io/c/4719901/1500169/15795) or purchasing through the Compare the Market call centre on 1800 304 709 and advising the Compare the Market comparison expert that you are a Citro member. You must use one of these methods to be eligible for the promotional offer; and
• if you are a registered Citro rewards member, you must not be in breach of any terms and conditions applying to the program.

5. Eligible Policies that are refunded or cancelled (including during any applicable cooling off periods) are not eligible for any promotional offer. Promotional amounts that have been incorrectly credited for cancelled or refunded policies will be deducted from your Citro account or you may be required to repay these amounts.
6. The promotional offer is issued in Australian dollars and is calculated exclusive of GST, taxes, costs and fees.
7. The Offer will be deposited into an Eligible Customer’s digital wallet in the Citro App where they are a registered Citro Rewards program member, or otherwise the Offer will be provided by electronic Visa gift card to the email address that you provided to Citro when you subscribed as a community member.
8. For Citro Rewards program members, Citro will use all reasonable endeavours to credit the cashback to your Citro digital wallet within 6 weeks of your purchase of an Eligible Policy.
9. If you are not a Citro Rewards program member, the Offer will be provided to you by electronic Visa gift card to the email address that you provided to Citro to become a community member, unless you tell us another email address in writing. We will use all reasonable endeavours to issue your gift card within 6 weeks of your purchase of an Eligible Policy in accordance with the applicable terms below.
10. Visa e-gift cards are issued by TCN Group Pty Ltd ABN 87 626 501 568 trading as Card.Gift. The name and email address of the Recipient will be supplied to Card.Gift to enable sending of the Offer. Citro accepts no responsibility if you use an incorrect or invalid email address. If you do not wish to take up the Offer, please advise the Promoter by Email.
11. An e-gift card redemption code for the Offer will be sent to the valid email address provided by the Eligible Customer within 6 weeks of the end of the Offer Period. The redemption code must be used to activate the Offer within three (3) years of the date it was issued otherwise the value will be forfeited. The Eligible Customer is responsible for redeeming the Offer before the expiry date for activation.
12. Separate Terms and Conditions of the e-gift card provider (Card.Gift) will apply to the redeemed Offer and are located here: https://card.gift/terms-of-service and here: https://card.gift/terms-and-conditions. Subject to these terms, you may use the e-gift card anywhere Visa is accepted.The e-gift card is not refundable or redeemable for cash and expired e-Gift cards cannot be extended or replaced. Redemption of the e-Gift card is managed by TCN Group Pty Ltd ABN 87 626 501 568 trading as Card.Gift. For more information and terms go to www.card.gift. Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the e-gift card are not included. Any unused balance of the e-gift card will not be awarded as cash. Redemption of the e-Gift card is subject to any terms and conditions of the issuer including those specified in these Terms and Conditions or on Card.Gift’s website. Citro does not accept any responsibility in relation to the use of the e-gift card once it has been issued to the email address you provided when subscribing as a community member.
13. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the identity and eligibility of each Eligible Customer, and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any person who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of this Offer, including any activity designed to manipulate the cashback offer system. Any Offers obtained through such conduct become immediately repayable to Citro and Citro may recover these amounts from you including by initiating a charge on any linked card on your registered Citro Rewards account. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation are reserved.
14. If there is a dispute, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to make a reasonable determination. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. Eligible Customers will be notified of the issuing of the Offer.
16. If there is Incomplete information (including where an email address provided is invalid) the Eligible Policy will not be eligible for the Offer.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
18. Citro reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promotional offers on any Eligible Policy/ies at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable laws.
19. The promotional offer is limited to one claim per Eligible Policy, is non-transferrable and cannot be used with any other Citro offer unless stated otherwise.
20. The Promoter collects personal information (“PI”) in order to conduct the Offer and may, for this purpose, disclose such PI to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this PI. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the PI for the purpose of conducting this Offer, promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes and sending electronic messages, offers and information to each Eligible Customer.

21. By participating in this promotional offer, you agree that you will comply with these Terms and Conditions (and for registered Citro members), the Rewards Terms.
