Compare the Market Offer Terms and Conditions‍

These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to promotional offers provided by Citrus Innovations Pty Ltd (ABN 25 667 285 654) (“Citro”) for the purchase of an Eligible Policy (as defined below) through Compare the Market Pty Ltd (ABN 83 117 323 378) (“Compare the Market”).

The promotional offer amounts are:

• $100 for the purchase of a Hospital only policy
• $50 for the purchase of an Extras only policy
• $150 for a Hospital and Extras (Combined) policy
• (collectively, “promotional offer”).

The promotional offer applies to the following Eligible Policies purchased through Compare the Market between 12:00am (AEDT) on 17 March 2025 and 11:59pm (AEDT) on 30 June 2025 (“Promotional Period”):

• Hospital only policy
• Hospital and extras (Combined) policy
• Extras only policy
• (collectively, “Eligible Policy”)

• Eligibility
  • To qualify for the promotional offer, during the Promotional Period you must purchase an Eligible Policy as an Eligible Customer. An Eligible Customer:
  • Must be a current Citro cardholder or community member and purchase one of the Eligible Policies above via Compare the Market.
  • Must purchase an EligiblePolicy/ies through Compare the Market by using the URL specified by Citro (https://comparethemarket.sjv.io/c/4719901/2860427/15795) or purchasing through the Compare the Market call centre on 1800 304 709 and advising the Compare the Market comparison expert that you are a Citro member. You must use one of these methods to be eligible for the promotional offer.
  • If you are a Citro cardholder, must not be in breach of any terms and conditions applying to your Citro card.
  • Eligible Policies that are refunded or cancelled (including during any applicable cooling off periods) are not eligible for any promotional offer. You may be required to return any promotional amounts that have been incorrectly credited.
• Crediting of promotional offer:‍
  • The promotional offer is issued in Australian dollars and is calculated exclusive of GST, taxes, costs and fees.
  • The promotional offer will only be paid to an Eligible Customer to their Citro Visa debit card (where you are a Citro cardholder), or by electronic Visa gift card to the email address that you provided to Citro, if you are a Citro community member.
  • For Citro cardholders, Citro will use all reasonable endeavours to credit the promotional offer amount to your Citro Account within 30 days of your purchase of an Eligible Policy.
  • If you are not a Citro cardholder, your promotional offer will be provided to you by electronic Visa gift card to the email address that you provided to Citro to become a community member, unless you tell us another email address in writing. We will use all reasonable endeavours to issue your gift card within 45 days of your purchase of an Eligible Policy.
  • Citro accepts no responsibility if you use an incorrect or invalid email address. Visa e-gift cards are subject to the gift card issuer’s separate terms and conditions (located here https://card.gift/terms-of-service and https://card.gift/terms-and-conditions) and subject to these terms may be used anywhere Visa is accepted. Citro does not accept any responsibility in relation to the use of the e-gift card once it has been issued to your email address. To receive the electronic gift card, you agree to provide us with any personal information we reasonably request to verify your purchase and identity.

  • Citro reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate any promotional offers on any Eligible Policy/ies at any time without prior notice, subject to applicable laws.
  • Citrus Innovations is the promoter of the promotional offer and may earn a commission on any Eligible Policy that you purchase through Citro as an Eligible Customer.
  • The promotional offer is limited to one claim per customer per transaction, are non-transferrable and cannot be used with any other Citro offer unless stated otherwise.
  • You agree that you will not engage in any fraudulent activity or improper or dishonest conduct in relation to the promotional offer (including any activity designed to manipulate Citro’s rewards systems), as determined by Citro. Customers will not be eligible for a promotional offer resulting from such conduct, and Citro may reverse or cancel any promotional offer payment made resulting from such conduct.
  • All questions, enquiries and complaints relating to any promotional offer should be directed to Citro.
  • By participating in this promotional offer, you agree that you will comply with these Terms and Conditions (and for Citro cardholders) the Rewards Terms and the Citro Card Terms and Conditions which also apply to your use of the Citro Card.
