What were the best things about the 1980s?
The 1980s were an age of rotary dial phones, cassette mix tapes and the Rubik’s Cube.
Sizzler came to Australia and showed us all what all-you-could-eat salad bars were.
Kids were allowed to buy lollies called ‘Fags’ and no-one cared that it was setting kids up for a lifetime smoking habit.
It was a time when cameras didn’t exist in phones and you went to the shopping centre or chemist to print photos (only to find out how much you WISHED you hadn’t put your thumb over the lens).
Homes only had one phone. And if there was a teenager in the house, there was no chance of anyone else using it.
What else do you remember about the 1980s?
